RSI ID Technologies Announces New Machinery and Patent

-- San Diego-based company now capable of full RFID vertical integration and break-through antenna manufacturing --

San Diego, CA - RSI ID Technologies (RSI), founded in late 1991 and headquartered in Chula Vista, California, recently acquired the assembly line machinery necessary for full RFID vertical integration.  In November of 2004, RSI brought in-house the machinery for antenna manufacturing and inlay assembly, adding to their already existing label converting capabilities.  As a result, the company is now able to offer customers "one stop shopping" for the design, manufacturing and assembly of RFID labels.  In addition, RSI also works directly with the end-user on system design and full system integration including support and consultation.

Also in late 2004, RSI ID Technologies designed and engineered the Transponder Validation Systems (TVS) machine which verifies and encodes RFID inlay's and ensures that the end user receives tags that perform flawlessly.  This TVS machine has been adopted by companies nation-wise and is rapidly becoming an industry standard in the verification and testing of RFID labels.

After a busy period of growth for the company in late 2004, RSI ID Technologies began 2005 by acquiring a patent enabling them to manufacture low cost antennas.  This patent adds to RSI's existing design and manufacturing portfolio and reduces the end-cost to customers by eliminating mark-ups from outside vendors.   In addition, the ability to manufacture antenna's in-house guarantees supply, ensures quality, and enables a higher level of customization for each customer's unique needs.
