Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC) will display its new products, the Smart Kiosk(TM) and Smart Reader, at the IAAPA Trade Show in Atlanta. The trade show will be held between November 14-19. PDC has developed RFID-enabled wristbands that facilitate cashless payment at a venue.
The Point-of-Sale (POS) Cashless Payment System uses a Smart Kiosk. Users access the Smart Kiosk to load money onto their Smart Band® RFID Wristbands by using either cash, credit or debit cards. This system allows users to enjoy freely in an amusement park without having to carry currency that may get wet or be misplaced. It speeds up transaction times by eliminating the processing of credit cards and handling of cash.
Companies that use this system can register an increase in sales as the convenience offered by cashless transactions at the point-of-sale encourages consumers to buy more. The system can be used for tracking purchases and controlling access, thereby eliminating the need for tickets/coupons at events.
