Spectrum Expert for RFID by Cognio
Cognio has come out with an RFID version of its Spectrum Expert spectrum analysis solution for wireless networks. The RFID version enables users to scan an area for signs of RF activity with the help of a frequency analyzer in a PC card form factor. The system can be used by both end users and vendors for resolving problems with interference on the unlicensed ISM bands that may be used for RFID applications.
The Spectrum Expert for RFID, which will be ready for shipment by the end of January 2006, will cost $ 4, 995.The solution will be useful in helping companies track and isolate the cause of imperfect tag readings is due to interference or faults in the RFID tags.
