RFID technology to create business benefits beyond Supply Chain

RFID Connect Asia conference and exhibition at the RFID Connect Asia event suggests that RFID will generate immense benefits in the value chain across various industries in 2006. Early adopters stand to gain from the technology. Various governments have adopted RFID in order to produce real time data and track at security levels. The Korean government is conducting pilot projects of RFID at its airports. RFID has also benefited the food safety and animal health system. Even Australian National Livestock Identification Scheme gained from RFID and has been effectively able to trace cattle from their birth to slaughter.
