RFID workshop by the University of Arkansas

According to a report by market research firm Regan, Jacob & Sydney (RJ&S) RFID technology is maturing at a rapid rate. The report states that RFID is moving beyond mandate-driven applications and the process is being helped by the development of standards. The corporate scenario, mergers and acquisitions are also covered by the report.

The University of Arkansas is holding an RFID organization workshop at Fayetteville, from January 24 to January 26. The workshop is for the International Research Consortium for Packaging, Manufacturing and Reliability for Low-Cost RFID and related Integrated SMART Tag Systems, which is a part of the University of Arkansas RFID Research Center. rfidjournal.com reports:

The workshop is open to any commercial, nonprofit, governmental or academic organization involved in RFID.
