Apex 2006 to feature Tyco’s reel to reel RFid inlay assembly systems

At the APEX 2006 trade show and exhibition, Tyco Electronics’ Application Tooling Division would be highlighting its exclusive award winning line of reel to reel RFid inlay assembly systems. This RFid line is industry’s first as it is an entire line of flexible systems. The system has many characteristics which includes throughput up to 9,000 cph, a placement system that has repeatability at three sigma and a full 20” wide web process capability. It also features a modular construction which allows for future capacity expansion or changes in the assembly process. It is capable of placing ancillary components such as batteries and tape and reel die placement.
