Microsoft India Development Center working on RFid project

Microsoft India Development Center at Hyderabad is working on a project that would push Microsoft’s presence in RFid. The project is code named Qubani and the name is derived from Hyderabad’s dessert Qubani ka meetha. The RFid product would be released during the third or fourth quarter of this year. This is for the first time that India center would be releasing an incubated product from the global market. Although RFid is in early stages of adoption but Microsoft has sensed the potential of this technology and it will enhance control of key business processes in order to increase business performance and enhance customer service for distributors, retailers, manufacturers and other industries.
