Tags which were designed to stop sheep straying have become fashion accessories in New York. These ear tags were created by ritchey-id who is based in Masham, North Yorkshire to help owners identify their livestock. These tags are now being attached to a collection of fashion sweaters which have been knitted from wool supplied by a flock of Welsh sheep. These tags are tough enough to withstand the worst weather and they can be used underground or underwater and are unaffected by grease, grime or solvents. These labels can include RFid which permits large amounts of data to be held on small tag.
