RFID Smart Labels USA: Highlights

RfidGazzette already reported about the recently held RFID Smart Labels USA. Around 500 delegates from 31 countries attended the show.

Some highlights from the show:

1.        There is an urgent need for Universal Interrogators that can work at different frequencies.

2.        Gillette's new five-blade razor system, Fusion is reportedly the first product where the manufacturer applied RFID to all the product cases and pallets.

3.        There was a strong interest in strong chipless technologies such as contactless cards. Printed tags also come under this segment.
