Oracle rolls out advance RFID for corporate use
00Oracle Sensor Edge Server, a vital piece in Oracle Fusion Middleware 10g permits companies integrate a variety of products from existing IT infrastructures with RFID and sensor networks.
Companies can take this version to provide out-of–the-box integration with RFID devices that are management for RFID tag readers, antennas and tag printers. Oracle vice president, Amlan Debnath quoted that they are working to make deployment easy for companies that are forced to put in RFID systems.
He add that companies bind to deploy RFID spend about $100,000 on deployments. However those executives that accept RFID can deliver a competitive advantage spend more.
Oracle will put stress on ease of use, standards and analysis in the applications.
