'The Cattle' raises concern about RFID technology

'The Cattle', an award winning book has raised concern over the RFID technology on the security grounds. The Cattle has won the 2005 Book of the Year Bronze Medal in Science Fiction by ForeWord Magazine. In the book, the author Sarwa has presented the real consequences of the latest technology on the US.

He wrote this book before the passage of HR418-The Real ID Act of 2005. The book looks at a logical result of incorporating modern technologies into a comprehensive National Identification System. In his book, Sarwa asked his readers to evaluate where the boundaries of personal freedom and privacy meet those of governmental authority and security.
