BGN introduces RFID tags

Boekhandels Groep Nederland BGN inducted an item based RFID tag system at its new store in Netherlands.

The Dutch book retailer BGN has decided to fully exploit the latest generation RFID technology. The retailer plans to deploy tag system in its 42 stores, which have 2.2 million books. At the new store, some 38,400 books have been tagged. 

BGN uses the latest generation of RFID for tagging which gives good results. By using the Radio Frequency technology, BGN keeps touch with its stores located distantly.
