Taiwan's Chinatrust Commercial Bank (CCB) has introduced MasterCard's Paypass-enabled wrist watch. Observing the enthusiasm among the fans everywhere, the Taiwan- based CCB has added the football-theme with its latest product.
The bank has developed PayPass watch by teaming up with Australian watch manufacturer Laks and contactless card outfit on Track Innovation. Laks SmartTransatcion watch is attached with MasterCard's RFID PayPass technology, which helps customers immensely.
Lucas Scheybal, Chief Executive Officer of Laks quoted,
To obtain compliance with MasterCard PayPass specifications, we built high security specifications into an analog watch. Our watches are now set to enter one of the most exciting markets of the future.
